Delivered on 13 July 1990, 163415 was used as an NF-14D testbed, before being passed to VX-9 in April 2001. In April 2003, 163415 was transferred to the Bloodhounds of Air Test & Evaluation Squadron VX-30 at NAS Point Mugu, California, receiving side number 201.[2] After being passed to AMARC as 1K0153 on 29 June 2004, 163415 was Struck Off Charge on 20 April 2005, remaining on AMARC inventory until at least 1 July 2008.[3]
