Northrop's T38 have a long and very distinguished history with included being the aircraft of the USAF's Thunderbird's flight demonstration team from 1974 to 1982 and has been one of the primary flight training aircraft since the early 1960's. It is currently still in operation by the USAF some 50 years later. A rather remarkable accomplishment.
Few T38 and F5 aircraft are certified for civilian use, most of which have been restored by Thorton Aircraft.
