Built in 1951,^[1] this aircraft was accepted by the United States Air Force 22 July 1953, and received by them on 28 July, before being passed to the Royal Canadian Air Force the following day.^[2]

After serving as RCAF 22130, it has been registered to Hans Lauridsen since January 23, 2007.^[3]
