Built in 1966, and originally registered with Clay Lacy as N1972L, the aircraft was certified as N464CL on 17 December 1975, with a further air worthiness test carried out on 9 June 1989.[1] This certificate is due to expire on 31 January 2019.[2]

Notes[]

  1. Flown by Captain Alan Murdock (Charlton Heston's character) to catch the 747, N464CL was also used as the camera ship for all the air to air filming on that movie, which was done around Salt Lake City and Provo, UT.[1]
