History[]

Delivered to Royal Air Force as TB885.

Used by RAF Kenley for fire fighting practice, and in background of movie Reach for the Sky, September 1955.

Buried in the fire dump in 1959, it was recovered from by Shoreham Aircraft Preservation Society in April 1982.

Passed to Lashenden Air Warfare Museum, Sevenoaks, in 1985, before transfer to Shoreham Aircraft Museum in 1991 for long-term restoration.[2]
